The Cultural Center is now located closer to the BEAM school! The opening of the Cultural Center’s new location was celebrated over dinner by staff, faculty and a group of visitors from the U.S. on their cultural and philanthropic tour of Burma, Thailand, and Laos. Our visitors were introduced to several representatives from the CBO groups involved in the Resource Center. The Resource Center is meant to provide a space for local organizations to communicate and work together. The U.S. visitors also came to the BEAM school to meet some of our Bridging and Computer Programming students and learn more about the migrant situation over lunch.
